We are a unique bakery and café in downtown Yakima located in an antique brick building. The warm colors and open kitchen are an inviting backdrop for the wide range of breads, pastries, desserts and drinks we serve.

Our breads are baked in the full artisan tradition. We use a long fermentation process for our dough (giving rich complex flavors), shape by hand, and bake directly in a stone/steam oven to produce a delicious crispy crust.

We make a wide range of high quality mouth-watering desserts and pastries, including mousse cakes, tarts, croissants, specialty cakes and truffles, designed and prepared by our pastry chef Ivone Petzinger and professional team. Special order cakes are available on request.

We use our own Essencia brand coffee to produce some of the finest espresso in town. We carry several unique hot and cold drinks using Chocolate Essence, an intense mixture of high quality chocolate made at the store. We also make our own fragrant and popular Chai, based on a traditional recipe.

As much as possible, local products are used, including locally grown and milled wheat. We are committed to a high level of training for our friendly staff. On weekdays, we offer sandwiches and savory delights for lunch. We also frequently host plated dessert evenings, where a range of specially prepared delicacies are paired with wine.
